What I want to do in the formal dining room

Formal dining room I LOVE the ceiling in here. I am going to put my yellow side board on the only available wall. I am going to re-do the chandi with rub n buff, fabric, new shades & bulbs. Wood floors, shutters and paint. The doors to the kitchen are going away. I really want to do something with the trim, I just may have to put off something’s for later based on time & physical restrictions. My umbilical hernia requires surgery...again, I am on strict orders not to make it worse before the surgery.

Here is what this space looks like right now with the current owners still in.
